Hello and Welcome to Saltgrass Miniature Schnauzers!
We are the Mintz family and we live on 25 acres deep in the heart of Southeast Texas (a little over an hour south of Houston), where we raise APHA Paint Horses and a limited number of well bred Miniature Schnauzers per year. Our champion bloodline Miniature Schnauzers are bred to akc standards for both conformation and dispositon.
Each and every dog and puppy are first and foremost a member of our family. Our furkids are not kept in the garage or in a barn, they live in the house with our family. I am with them when they give birth and handle each baby from the time they take their first breath. Our puppies are loved raised by myself and 3 wonderful children ranging from age 9 to 13 years. They are socialized around other dogs, cats, kids, as well as, being exposed to normal household activities and it shows in their personalities! Puppies will come to you pre-spoiled, with tails and dewclaws removed, AKC registration papers, puppy contract, small bag of food they are currently eating, freshly groomed, age appropriate shots, wormed regularly and started on potty training. I often also provide a puppy collar and a toy or small blanket to help with the transition to their new home.
I am here for a lifetime of support and stand behind my babies. If for any reason during their lifetime you are no longer able to keep or care for them, I will take them back at no additional charge to you, no questions asked. I do not want any of my puppies or dogs given away or turned in to an animal shelter or pound. I've been involved in rescue most of my life and am therefore careful where my puppies are placed.
All champion line puppies are sold with limited akc papers only, no exceptions. Absolutely no mills need to contact me about any of my babies. I know what goes on in "the bad places", I will not knowingly ever place a dog or puppy in that type of environment. I want them all to go to wonderful loving indoor homes! I am also currently a board member for a 501(3)c rescue in Houston called Annie's Angels Texas Rescue.
